A Message From Our President

On behalf of the Members and myself, welcome to the Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter has sustained our educational programs within the Howard County community since 1971 with the vision of our 22 chartering members. We have several educational initiatives including D-STEM, Dr. Betty Shabazz, EMBODI, Dr. Jeanne Noble GEMS and Delta Scholars. To date, we have provided academic scholarships exceeding $500,000.00. Our community and partners has recognized the value we bring to Howard County in their continuous effort to support our initiatives.

Our programs are focused on the sorority’s five point programmatic thrusts. They are Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health and Political Awareness and Involvement

If you are a member of the sorority and interested in visiting the chapter, the chapter meets on the fourth Saturday at noon of each month, September through June (except holidays in November, December and May).
